An endearing Chad Valley bear called Sybil c.1930s, with a quirky crooked smile. She’s 38cm (15″) tall, and kapok-stuffed with a woodwool head.

Sybil has original amber glass eyes with embroidered features, including a prominent bulbous nose (the bound stitch across the top has been resewn). Her felt pads are old replacements, and all joints are in good working order.

Although Sybil has some bald areas, most notably to her face, right arm and front torso, she still has plenty of faded gold mohair.

Dressed by her owner, Sybil wears a pretty white cotton frock, trimmed with lace and pink satin ribbons, along with a pink knitted cardigan, decorated with rosebuds on the collar. Also, a faded pink headband, and she carries over her shoulder a sweet little pink frilled pouch in which she keeps her dried lavender bag, to keep those pesky moths at bay.

Overall, Sybil is a delightful, in-the-pink character!
