An adorable, black & white mohair Schuco cat c.1950s, standing 20cm (8″) high. Unjointed, Pepper is stuffed with a mix of woodwool and kapok, with wired limbs.
She’s retained her original features, and has expressive bright green glass eyes with black pupils. Her nose is embroidered in peach thread, and her grinning mouth sewn in black. Pepper’s pricked-up ears are lined with cream velvet, now a little grubby, and her white mohair areas likewise.
Although Pepper’s fur shows some thinning and a few small bald patches, overall, she’s very well endowed, and in pretty good condition.
This delightful puss, is wearing a replacement red silk neck-ribbon, with a silver-tone bell, and shown playing with a mouse rattle, which our own cat finds very scary!
