Percy is a very fine English Pedigree bear c.1950s, made of gorgeous, thick gold mohair.  Completely kapok-stuffed, he’s 43cm (17″) tall, and has kept his original features.

His eyes are amber glass, and showing a few light surface scratches to the black pupils. Percy’s nose and mouth are embroidered in black thread, while his pads are brown cotton velvet, with some wear to the nap to his left paw and foot. He’s never had any claws, so is totally harmless!

Percy’s tilt growler now only rattles, but his joints work fine – his head rotates 360 degrees, and is endearingly wobbly. With his lovely rounded head and cute face, Percy is a really sweet, cuddly character.

He’s wearing his handknitted waistcoat, pinned with a WW2 Civil Defence Corps cap badge, which he claims he inherited from his father. Plus, an old shirt collar (also his dad’s!), fastening with an equally old pearly stud, as well as a more modern dicky bow.
