A wacky – or quacky! – vintage mechanical Japanese ostrich, who enjoys going for a gander. Ozzy stands 23 cms (9″) high on his very long legs, and is made of tinplate covered in synthetic plush.
When his keywinder is turned, Ozzy sets off on a trot – or rather slow walk! His legs and neck move back and forth, while his beak simultaneously opens wide.
Ozzy is all original and wears an attached red felt hat, plus neck ribbon. He has plastic goggle eyes and is In overall good condition. A strangely lovable, comical character.
Ostriches are large flightless birds, and we normally live in Africa. We’re the largest species, and have the biggest eggs of any other bird. We also run the fastest, but I prefer a gentle stroll!
